Szypliszki to gmina położona w północnej części powiatu suwalskiego w województwie podlaskim. Jest to gmina o charakterze rolniczym. Ośno Lubuskie – picturesquely located among woods and lakes of Puszcza Rzepińska -  is one of the oldest towns in the north-west part of the Lubuskie Voivodeship. Ośno is situated within 146 km from Berlin and 27 km from the border crossing point with Germany.
